In 10 years of playing this game, Necropolis was always at a disadvantage, for example, with their champion creature being annihilated by any other champion creature, regardless of their numbers. Small changes were made to the attributes and abilities of several creatures, which I deem completely necessary for a more overall balanced and interesting gameplay. Another example: Earth Daughter gains Earthquake, while Pit Spawn gains Implosion, utilising a visual effect previously unused in the game (since Pit Spawn had no spells).

For instance, instead of Suffering (Advanced level), Archlich now wields Mass Suffering (Basic level). Many of the new spells are mass effect versions of their standard spells, which makes the casters more useful, but not overpowered.

To this effect, mana pools have been also altered, while the choice of spells was made with regard to immersion and visual appeal. This mod alters almost every caster-creature's spellbook (like those of the Inquisitor or Shadow Mistress) to include greater number of spells that are also stronger, making spellcasting more useful in late game and more intimidating early on or against neutral creatures.
